BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
Ayurveda is one of the ancient medical systems of the world. It traces its roots to the Vedic period.The Ayurvedic system of medical care is based on the concept where the natural healing capacity of the body is being enhanced by Ayurvedic therapy. Ayurvedic treatment includes reducing symptoms, eliminating impurities, reducing worry, increasing resistance of disease and increasing harmony of patient's life.

The course aims at providing basic education in Ayurveda leading to the degree of B.A.M.S. It aims at preparing graduates of Ayurveda having basic and fundamental knowledge in different subjects of Ayurveda with extensive practical training. A student can become an efficient teacher, a research scholar and a competent Ayurvedic physician (Kayachikitsaka) and surgeon (Shalyachikitsaka) to be able to contribute in the medical and health services of the country. The discipline aims at treating patients using homeopathic methods and medicine. The candidate having the BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) degree is eligible to be called as a doctor and eligible to do private practice. A homeopathic practitioner may look the career as a medical representative or as a doctor in private or government hospital. The Unani medicine system is one of the ancient medication system adopted by the South-Asia and Middle-East countries of the world. It is also known as the "Hikmat" or Unani Tibb Medicine. It has a history spanning 6000 years. Unani is the fourth most popular medication system in India after the Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic system. BUMS course is also known as Kamil-ETibb- O-Jarahat. BUMS course in India is governed by Central Council Of Indian Medicine, a statutory body under IMCC Act 1970, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

There is an undergraduate degree programme in the field of Unani medicine and surgery. This degree covers knowledge of the Unani system. The degree is quite enough to become a doctor (Hakim) in the Unani medical field. Unani is the system of alternative medicines. The patients are taken care of by enhancing the natural healing power of the human body. The concept of Unani is that the body rejuvenates itself because of its self-healing powers. We just need to help it by enhancing the natural healing power.

B. SC. Nursing
Nurses work with old and young adults with diverse health conditions, both chronic and acute, within both hospital and community settings. This discipline focuses on the use of biology and technology to treat and prevent diseases occurring in animals. The Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & AH) degree falls within the Veterinary Education part of Medical Education in India and is therefore monitored by the Veterinary Council of India.
