As the government added an additional Krishi Kalyan Cess (KKC) of 0.5% on all taxable services in India.The cess will increase the service tax rate from 14.5% to 15.00% on all taxable services, including SRPK Services, from June 1, 2016.

KKC is aimed at improving agriculture in the country and for financing schemes in the sector.
